Before you get mad at me for being picked, you should know that my wife thinks I've used up all of our "Powerball" luck on the moose lottery. She reminds me at least once a day. I haven't been able to sleep for a week. I've got a bull permit for WMD 6 and have some great spots scouted out. This is probably a once in a lifetime opportunity for me so I hope to make the best of it. I've got areas scouted, have my trusty coffee can call, my rifle sighted in, and I hope to enjoy every minute of the experience. Any and all advice from the wise sages on this forum would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for providing a great forum for discussion!

congratulations and good luck, WMD 6 seems like a goodun'.

check out the broccoli fields off Ward Rd. in Limestone. last week we had the best luck seeing moose very early in the AM although just before dark was fairly good too. during the day was alot slower spotting, had to get off the beaten track down into the wet/boggy places. locations with woods and water near agricultural fields were more productive than deep woods for us. the hay/clover fields seemed like real moose magnets.

if you're having trouble sleeping now, wait 'til the night before!

Cool! Remind her that good things happen in threes so you might have two chances left.

Congrats on the draw and I don't think anyone here will be mad at you for getting drawn. Just remember when you come out of the woods and your truck tires are flat, nobody here did that! :roflmao: :roflmao:
