I guess unless you butcher your self, I prefer to wait until it gets little colder. The one I use is a good 45min. from our home. By the time I track it, gut it, drag it out of the woods & load it in my truck. All in 70+-degree temps. It falls susceptible to fowling. Don't get me wrong I will still get out in the woods for scouting early in the season. Has anyone ever had to pack the inner cavity out with ice?
