Finally took my 2 oldest kids fishing the other weekend up at my wife's uncle's camp. Kids love it. My 5 year old daughter looked down at the hook when it first came out of the water and said, "hey cool dad, we caught a worm."
Just so you all know, she didn't really think that. She has a wonderful sense of humor for a 5 year old. She acts a lot like her grandfather (kenton6)... ahem!
Like the day I was cutting up a cucumber and she told me she didn't want a cucumber (q-cumber) - She wanted a y-cumber....
I went out with a group of guys off the coast of NC sailed out of Oregon Inlet on the outerbanks. We caught a mess of Tilefish, which I had never heard of before but they were good eating. We also caught sea bass and some blues( small ones).
Me with a big Tilefish
Our catch
Y-Cumber Now thats a good one  5 years old and she comes up with that you may have your handsfull
Tilefish? I am not sure I know much about that breed of fish...
Looks like you had a great day of fishing though from the looks of that second picture.

Yea y-cumber was never spoken of prior to when she said that so I still assume she made it up. She loves the alphabet and counting so it didn't surprise me. She'll count to a hundred over and over again all day if you let her...
