Anyplace to test fire/try a handgun before you buy?

I am about to purchase my first handgun, I have narrowed my choose down to Sig, Glock, or Kimber 1911. I am wondering if there is anywhere in Maine that I can go and rent or try out a few models before I buy one?

Any ideas? Is there a local gun club that has range/rental guns?

I am not a member of any ranges or gun clubs, so I haven't any idea. I know in other areas many ranges allow rentals, if no one on here can help you try looking up the contact info for some ranges in your area and try asking them if they have rentals.
