Been there an done that, good luck!! I found that it made a good bait to keep em coming in when the pastry's were cleaned up, but they did'nt feed heavy on it. It worked especially good for dog baits so they would hang around close by the bait and we could get a quick jump en run. The stuff I had hardened up and was hard to get out of the barrels, plus it weighs a ton to carry in and I do about 50 baits so I had to carry pastries and caramel in seperate trips to fill each bait. If you could get it to your site during pre-season in large quantities and then feed pastries as it runs down during the actual hunting season, it would be of great benefit.

I make a bear that is 100x's sweeter than sugar. Its basically like reducing 250lbs of raspberry jelly to 4oz of powder. I'm not a bear hunter, I live in Louisiana. I am the Admin for the Louisiana forum. Not trying to sell you anything. Just letting you know that it is available. I know that sweets are hard to find. We tested it in Maine, Wyoming, Upper Michigan and Penn. We are all getting together to hunt it in Upper Michigan in Sept. It will be my first Bear Hunt. Can't Wait.

For what it's worth...Mooseguide and I tested this product last fall......wow. He ain't lying.....this stuff is powerful. Made the mistake of putting a pinch on my tongue...... tasted apples for hours. Drank some coffee 45 minutes later...wham back in full force. I can only imagine what the bears think of it. Just know we were extremely active ..lots of traffic...all season thanks to boarmasters scents. Test it for yourself.... put it on one bait in a good area. Watch this bait draw them in better than any other. A whole lot easier to tote than all that bacon grease and french fry oil from MickeyD's
