Does anyone know how many people attended their school this past summer? I know there was a 15 person limit and wondered if it filled up. I believe a "Tom Remington" wrote an article about it that I read. Is he the same Rem as on this site. Tom, do you copy me..over??

Oh, well he needs to clean out his inbox then. Sorry I didn't realize that's what you meant.

Capt Jack Duggins may have his email address.

BigBuck,

I went up last year for the first one. There was a limit but I believe as it worked out there was only about 8 or 10 "paying" customers. Another MHF member on here attended that school - LostAgain2

This year's school will be in May this year not in June. I wanted to go again but that's too early to fit into my schedule.

If you have a desire to track down big bucks and learn about the buck's tactics, you might want to consider the school.

Do you know the date in May? When you say there were 8-10 "paying" customers, are you saying that there were "freebies" also? How did you like it? I really admire the Benoits and would love to meet them!

The "freebies" were guys who were there to assist Mike, the owner with certain tasks necessary for the school.
I'm not sure of the exact date. I think it may begin on May 18th. When I know for sure, I'll let you know. I'm sure Mike will be forwarding my a flyer like last year and I'll post it on our websites. We are one of the sponsors again this year.
If you like talking deer, it's the place to be. The boys sure have interesting stories to tell.

Oh, I forgot to tell you. Even though Mike had set a limit of 15 guys, he was glad that there were fewer attendees. It was much more manageable and those in attendance got more attention, etc.

benoit school

Hey guys,

Just wanted to update you all with some info on this years Benoit Tracking School in Allagash Maine. The school will be held at "Allagash Sporting Camps" same as last year and I believe the dates are May 18-20. All 3 Benoit Brothers are scheduled to attend. This year should be even better since they can work off of last years experiences. There may even be some snow left on the ground at that time up here. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask and i'll do my best to help out. Lost...
