Anybody see Bill Green on the news last night. There was a guy who found moose antlers sticking up out of the ice on a pond. He went to investigate and thinks the antlers are still connected to the moose which is floating in the water. So he sawed off the antlers and took them home.
He then got to thinking about the laws and so he called authorities who came and took away his antlers. Law says that any foul play whether it is you who finds the animal or the criminal doesn't matter you can't keep them.
The antlers will not be handed back to him until after the investigation and so he got ticked off and called Bill Green.
What Ab said. We have a set of antlers here now that we found while out mushroom hunting. The warden gave us a permit to keep them. But--before you remove them, you must have a warden go see where they are, that way they can tell if foul play was involved.
