Those guys over there are idiots. They are jumping to baseless conclusions fostered by paranoia of those with different opinions. It is evident that they balme all that is wrong with america on the "left". As I am sure you have all figured out, I am not a leftist nor a conservative, but rather a libertarian (with a little "L")....actually maybe more of an anarcho-capitalist with some other funny ideas mixed in, anyways my point is I am not defending leftist policies, but to blame all of the problems on the left is absurd, I didn't see the republicans do $hit about the AWB when they were in power, they just let it ride until it expired.

I went over to the Nuge Board and got some of them straightened around about which poll was which and what was going on. I wasn't going to sit by while they run the BBB into the drink without trying to get some things straight.

I understand their anger at CBS News but that is beside the whole point. The object of CBS's story was how different people reacted to an event. I don't think the story was pro gun or not.

Anyway, checking the stats, I have yet to find any traffic resulting from that link. So much for that.

I like Ted..The Nuge..........but sometimes extreme people with extreme views are extremely extreme.........

That's my extreme view.....

I think you hit the nail on the head.:gitrdone:

I did not mean to expose the Blog to such "extreme criticism" .......................My thought was to expose the Blog to some new eyeballs. :pidu:

The reaction on the other forums is much more civil.:camp1:

I will say this, we are showing the other side how easy it is to break our ranks. God forbid a real issue comes up. Most hunters are pro 2nd amendment by nature, No [email protected]#$. That doesn't mean we have to leave our brains at the door. The man brought up a topic, caused us to have to debate and discuss. I am not sure why that is a crime. If right is right and we all arrive at that conclusion, we will at least know why and be better prepared to defend our position to those against us.

Well said..............Unfortunately there are extremists on both sides of the fence. Those extremists on our side of the fence often do more harm than good. What they show is great division within the gun owner ranks.

Mention hunt preserves and the same division surfaces. Fodder for the antis and they eat it up with joy!

Well I here you Mark. I am no strange to the critics myself. I hunt hard and take it on the chin all the time. I engage in some of the contraversial parts of our sport. Bear hunting, deer hunting out of state with bait and food plots, hog hunting, trapping, hunting with kids. All of the above draw heat from anti's and even people in the hunting community. So I feel your pain.
