To curb problem populations as in "the route 1 North corridor" should we have an extended archery season on moose?

That's an interesting proposition. We could charge them bow hunters another $1,000 for each permit over and above the first one. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
If numbers suggest their are too many moose, the DIF&W will get creative and find ways to reduce numbers by SELLING more permits.
Moose hunting is such a sought after event in Maine, they could auction off more permits and get big buck.
There are western states that auction off elk permits and they get several thousand dollars for one little ole permit.
How does that saying go? Money talks and ---- walks. Start walking!
