This was asked over at the PA forums but thought it would be a good question to ask here...

DID YOU EVER GO HUNTING, NOT GET A DEER, AND STILL HAVE A VERY MEMORABLE TIME? OR, WHO FELL IN THE FIRE SATURDAY NIGHT?

You would have to ask Nate. He is ussaly deer-less. Just kidding. For years now soem of the best times I have had are on the weekend at our friend Devon's camp in Andover. From August baiting to Muzzleloader deer hunting, we are all up there most weekend. Evey now and then we get a critter but most times we are just hanging out. It is in a great location as we can hunt western Maine or just over the border in NH. So tagged out or not, I can always find an excuse to get up there.

I love to travel to hunt, but I love it so much more to hang with my friend here in Maine.

I have many memorable times in which i do not get a deer. In fact, the harvesting of a deer is not the climax of the hunt to me. The best part is everything that leads up to a potential shot...hearing a twig snap, seeing a deer and not being able to make it out, hearing a grunt etc. These are all very memorable to me and are just as exciting as an actual harvest.
