Hi Tom, Donna Ann and me are alive and our home made it believe it or not. God Blessed us that we had a home to come back to, we are some of the few who can boast that in our area. We live right smack in the center of the landfall between Long Beach and Pass Christian MS. Our town is pretty much gone as is most of the towns along the coast here. Every business along a 35 mile stretch of coastline here is gone and I mean completely gone. Everything south of the famous RR tracks was totally annilated. Estimates are coming in that 68,000 homes were destroyed but that # is going to go up. Whole neighborhoods after entire whole neighborhoods have been completely erased from the face of the earth. I promice you TV does not remotely show the devastation here, it is truly unbelievable. If anyone can ride through the worse areas and see entire neighborhoods completely destroyed and not have a tear in their eyes has a strong heart. Most of Donna Ann's family lost their homes and 60% of our church family lost their homes. We lived in a tent for 10 days in our front yard after we were able to return and then finally was able to find enough gas so that we could use our new generator and move back into our home for some much needed rest and A/C. Really has been hot here except for today. We have electricity now and water and toilets but still are without landline phones, cable, internet or email services. We have limited mobile services so you can try and call us at 1-228-234-2276 but I can't promice you that you will be able to get through, many people has told me they got busy signals alot before getting through, alot of cellular calls trying to go through a limited # of towers that are left here. I am not going to complain because we have so much more left than most. There are still 60,000 + living in shelters. I will be back more regular when our internet service is restored. Oh, Man! Jimmy it's so good to hear from you! I was really starting to wonder.
I guess the prayers must have worked but thank God you are all okay and families.
Let us know if there is anything we can do. What I don't know but you can ask.

We're actually doing pretty good Tom. I wish we could get our phones back up so I could get our business back up and running full steam. We have more food than we can eat thanks to all the food brought in by churches and individuals from all over the USA. The help we all have gotten has been phenominal. This is a great country with a lot of caring people in it. It is good to be back. God Bless.
Thanks Tom, we pretty much have everythng we need. We have more food than we can eat thanks to al the food brought in by fema, military, churches and individuals. The outporing of help has been unbelievable. This is a great country full of a lot of caring people. I am truly impressed with the generosity of everyone.

Thanks Steve, we are doing business but everything is limited. Our only phone contact capability is limited cellular service. With the internet card from Verizon we were able to get into our website and change our toll free number over to our mobile so we can at least receive calls pertaining to our hunts when they will go through and even when I take the internet card back after the 15 day trial period we can still receive our emails at the temp. Bellsouth tent they have set up for their customers.We still kicking just not too fast. :roll:Remington said:
