Tonight at 6:30 at Mountain View High School in Thorndike is the first public hearing on the proposed changes to the Maine moose hunt for next year.

Just got this press release from MDIFW about a series of meetings concerning the 2006 moose hunt.
They want to expand the season in areas and include a hunt in the southern part of the state.
