This is a client who I sent to Mora New Mexico on his first turkey hunt ever. Needless to say he told me that he is now hooked forever and wants to go to TX next year for Rio. Nice guy, he's in the Military stationed at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, New Mexico. I am always thrilled when a client has a great trip but him being a brand new turkey hunter it is even more special that his trip turned out great for him. I think he killed 2 birds but I am not sure as I haven't had a chance to talk to him. I know he killed one his very first day of his trip.

Nice Bird

Well another one has the monkey on his back  Thats a nice bird. Tough season here in NC looks like I might get shut out last week here.
That is a nice bird! I assume those pics are all of the same one.
Nice turks and great pics! I'm glad to hear of your success with your clients Jim. Nice going keep up the good work!
Merriam

Steve That is the same bird. I wasn't sure when I posted the pictures but I have talked to him since. Moose, it has been tough hunting in NM this year too. This hunt takes place starting around 6500' to about 8500' and they're still getting snow . The weather has really made the breeding season late and they're really henned up.
