Many thanks to the folks who have contributed on this thread and passed on their knowledge and stories about moose hunting.

Back last September (2006) I asked for some advise about District 3. After reading some of the stuff that had been posted here I decide to write up the tale of how our moose hunt went.

Steve has been kind enough to post it over in the Maine Hunting Today magazine.

I hope that you might enjoy it and it can serve as a kind of "giving back" for the advise furnished.

At the least, it will keep you reading for a spell on this cold February night.
