I live in VA and our deer are alot smaller then those monsters you grow in Maine what are you feeding those brutes? What do they dress out on average? in Va a 150 LB deer is huge but I bet that is small up there:mrgreen: I have a QUESTION for all you deer hunters I know the amount of time we spend in the woods and the amount of weird things we see but I have a weird question for you Has any one ever been attacked by a hawk in the spring I mean have you ever had a hawk scream and dive bomb you while in the woods? If so it was most likely a northern goshawk and I want to find a nest so I would love to hear the story. Why YOU ASK? I am a licensed falconer and I want to train one to hunt with me I have the proper permits to do so and its legal for me too do it. I figured deer hunters would be my best bet since like I said we spend all that time in the woods scouting and antler hunting. Thanks for the help and if you have any questions about va let me know.
