Is? Rifle? If so what brand and caliber. Bow? What kind and what kind of arrow do you prefer and under what conditions.
Muzzleloader? Brand? Caliber? What kind of powder do you use?

My preferred deer hunting weapon is my .30-06 FN. It is topped with a Leupol VariX II 3-9x scope. I shoot Remington 180 gr. core-loks through it and they do the job quite well.

For ML hunting I have a CVA Staghorn. It is cheap but does the job. So far I have killed a nice 8 pointer with it. I use 90 grains of Pyrodex and shoot Buffalo Bullets.

Weapon

I use a Remington Woodsmaster .308 with a Redfield 3x9. I don't do any muzzleloading in Maine because I am not there long enough.

my favorite gun was always my 6mm Remington but I traded that to get my son his youth .223 W/3x9 bushnell and I hate to admit it... but I also love this little gun,its great in a blind or a tree stand because of its short length and less movment to get it to your shoulder, and not to mention its accuracy for those pin point shots if needed :D
My favorite bow is my Martin Jaguar I use a 26" 2213.

Just put away my open sight Remington 7600 short barrel .30-.06 in favor of my CVA .45 muzzleloader with Leupold 3x9. PowerBelt copper jacketed slugs and 100 grains of black powder sent downrange with a 209 shotgun primer...love it!
For the bow...the PSE Deerslayer with 125 grain broadheads on CarbonForce arrows.
Not top of the line stuff...but I like it...and that's what counts.
(It'd also be nice to have meat in the freezer!)

Bow= Bowtech Tribute with wally world arrows and G5 broadheads

Gun for Maine= 7600 meatmaster for tracking
Gun for Travel= Howa 1500 bolt in .300 win mag. If I can see him I can touch him. Scope is a 3-10x42mm Niko Strealing night eater.

as for the .223 my spud shoots the same gun and has 7 deer under his belt, non make it more than 2 steps. One night in SC he dropped a spike with the .223 and I shot a spike an hour later with the .300 and it went 60 yards. I took some ribbing that night.

Remington 30-06 with a Simmons 3x9 (cheap and very accurate) I use it in the more open areas where I can expect a shot out to 200 - 300 yards.

In heavy brush I love my Mossberg 800a 308 with iron sights.

Bow - never been serious about it but own a pse Carroll with 28" draw and alum. 2016 camo uni bushing arrows
