Is there a way to keep spam out of the replies in field journal entries? I'm considering a journal entry about yesterday's trip up north.

That is a great idea. I don't think we have gotten any spam in out field journals. When you create your field journal I believe there is an option to choose where you can only have registered members reply to your post. This will eliminate any spam because they have to get through me first when they register at the forums.

Looks like John Porter has a gazillion spam replies but he allowed guests to reply. When you create your journal it is the 3rd or 4th option where you check off Registered Users as reply capabilities. That will stop the spam.

Boy, that is some nasty spam. Remington can you go in and delete that $h!t? I don't think it is very helpful.

Yea I didn't realize all that junk was in there. All you need to do is when you create your journal to only allow Registered Users to reply. There is an option in there to do that. Otherwise you will get all kinds of Viagra ads :lol:
