Recovered Bullet

  1. This is a pic of the 195 gr. Dead Center sabot I recovered out of the doe I shot last week with my T/C 50 cal. Omega.
I shot it twice but only recovered one bullet, as one passed through. This one was the second shot, it went through the ribs at an upward angle because the deer was down and lodged in the spine.
The first shot hit the spine also and droped the deer but managed to blow through both sides.
I put it next to a whole bullet to give you an idea of the weight retention.
Sorry for the blurrry cell phone pic.
I got to get me a good digital.

looks like that piece of lead got mangled up pretty good and did its job. Nice going.
