Should Maine Do This??

I think it would be a huge boost for guides, and the economy if Maine did have a Spring bear hunt. I'm sure that the Fall season would be changed in order to maintain a healthy bear population, but the best success is always at the beginning of the season anyway. Unfortunately I think it would cause some HUGE problems with the anti's. Just imagine, they're already trying to stop what we've been doing for generations, and trying to allow hunting at a different time of the year would be just outrageous....
