A reminder to those of you that were lucky enough to obtain a turkey permit for the spring hunt. The dates are as follows:
Youth Day - April 30, 2005
Season A - May 2 - May 7 and May 23 - May 28
Season B - May 9 - 14 and May 16 - 21
All permit holders can hunt May 30 - June 4

I landed my NJ "G" permit (Saturdays only for 5 saturdays). Begins April 23rd. As luck would have it, my wife has to work that day and my youngest has a baseball game at 11:30 that morning Guess I'll have to leave the field early opening day :? Too bad they only let us turkey till noontime....no afternoon hunts :evil:
(Just had an idea......I'll have to shoot a bird early!!)

I got my sitter lined up for this Saturday...all I need now is a gobbler in my shotgun sights!! I'll have 500 acres to myself . Whooopie I'll keep you posted.....
