Why is it when I read topics of law changes that will give a hunter longer seasons--everyone is for it. But raise a license fee a couple dollars and no way is that cool.
Discussed a few law changes last night with my hunting buddies and they were really loving some of them, then I said with these law changes the prices to hunt goes up---they blew up big time. Had to finally tell them I was pulling their leg.
Why is we sportsmen/women will continue to take but mention giving and a war breaks out?

But who has asked for longer seasons? Personally, I was good with what we had before all this new thinking came in.
I'm just tired of sportsman & women paying for what everybody uses. Boat ramps and "invasive species" stickers are just one example. Just because my boats have motors (really they should be called ingines) I have to register them AND pay the weed tax, but folks with kayaks and canoes get a free ride at the ramps with nobody pestering them about weeds on their boats and trailers!

And why does eagle, osprey and owl money come out of IF&W instead of Deparment of Conservation?

One thing is for sure though, longer seasons don't necissarily justify higher fees, and higher fees don't mean a better hunting experience!

Want to fix SOME things at IF&W? Get rid of the FAT/LAZY pigs working in the offices! I went with a friend in early January for him to get a license, a 400 pounder was so busy finishing off the box of pastries we had to wait almost 20 minutes and nobody else was in line! Then when she came to the counter she almost puked on us while choking on the two doughnuts in her mouth.
As long as IF&W is wasting our money on stupidity, I'll always bitch about higher fees!
