Somebody has to start the ball rolling in the waterfowl section. I came across this news story about the problems they are having with geese at Lake Tahoe and this seems to be problem lots of places. We have gotten access to some great areas to hunt here in NC because of problems landowners are having with geese. It’s worth checking your area out you may just get some additional hunting this coming fall.

This is a growing problem everywhere although this is the first I have heard about Tahoe. At the end they did touch on one big problem and that is people feeding them. Canada Geese are a migrating bird but they won't migrate as long as they are getting fed. This is the same for any migrating bird.
Good opportunity though for hunters seeking private land to hunt on.
