It's that time of year when dem dar bears be waking up, especially the male bears and they be hungry. Tell your dumb ass neighbors to take down their bird feeders before it's too late.

Speaking of bears! Went up to the guide service on Sunday and decided to walk out back past my sled dogs. My buddy told me on Friday that they barked a few times Thursday night. Now, I don't allow my dogs to bark when they are on runs, so I thought it was quite odd. Saw where a bear had walked to within 20 yards before the dogs sounded off and he turned and left the area.

Had one try to get into the bait house last night. Seems as they are now on the move in my area.
