One thing that I noticed that was lacking while I traveled about Maine was the fishermen. There seems to be a real lack of young people wetting a line.
I had a great feed of brook trout (native) just the other night. A friend of mine that caught the fish says he can go to any fishing hole where he used to go as a kid and catch an endless supply of brookies.
By reading a bit about the other post about volunteers for the event to introduce people to fishing, perhaps it's a good idea.

After getting out and about this summer I am gonna have to agree with you on that one. People generally are more busy and I think being busy is not a good quality if you are to be a fisherman.. :wink:
