Congrats on the turkey there LJ. I'm not sure about the company you're keeping these days and those are some of my stomping grounds and to be real honest, I believe I know right where you are in that photo.

It took three phone calls but I was finaly persuaded to make the trip.
I think I was in good company on that hunt, I couldn't have had a better time with anyone else.
K6, would you like to take a stab at the location?

No Al, I think what you see is a loose feather stuck to the rock I set him on.
The beard was thin and only 8 5/8", It looked like he had been in a scruff with another bird. Iether that or I shot it half off.

nope and nope....the location of this small apple orchard is off Rte. 232...in Bryant Pond....Had a great time with LJ....We spent half the night talking....and than hunted the next mornin...we actually probably spent more time talking than hunting....johnny's welcome here anytime, great guy he is.... 8)
