Food banks and pantries all over the state are looking for meat to give to the needy. Did you kill your deer(s) or moose...... and would you gift part or all to feed the hungry? If so please contact your nearest food pantry and or Catholic Charities of Maine to see where you can deliver it cut and wrapped. The hungry will thank you............as will I.

in the past ive shot deer and gave it all to needy family's...there is nothing wrong with that at all......i dont like to see people starve when it not nessasary.....and ill proberly do it again when its needed...no question's askedno names told......thats the way i am... :shhh:

well M.T. you go ahead and do that i like the attatude(MY OWN) were only on a razor blade here between people going hungry and people that dont give a shit...i for one would shoot a whole herd of deer to feed the hungry..LEAGALLY -OR-NOT......hey norm, and A.B. SG......sorry if I hurt your feelings along the way. But I see that you have a good heart ..... and are willing to help. Those who are needing it can't always let us know. So I want to share my good fortune with those who need some help. As you said..only a razor's edge from being there ourselves.
Working on the grassroots side of a national program.....Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry. Was curious as to how many out there would put their name on my hunters list. Maybe to later donate all or part of a kill to feed the needy.

Best program I have ever heard of. Very big in the midwest and I donate atleast one a year. Being single I can't eat 3 deer a year on top of the other game. I'll be damned if that game goes to waste. Most farmers get several tags or more depending on acreage and almost all of it goes to feed the homeless.
